About the role
Our client is a well established manufacturing business based in Leeds and is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their finance team.
This role will suit a qualified or qualified by experience finance professional with a background in manufacturing or a similar environment. You will be responsible for supporting day to day financial operations while providing accurate and timely financial information to senior management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Cost and margin analysis
- Supporting operational teams with financial insight
- Maintaining financial controls and reporting processes
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or be qualified by experience
- Previous experience in a finance management role, ideally within manufacturing or an industrial environment
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive and organised approach
