About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing business for a Finance Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who is looking to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Processing invoices and payments
• Supporting purchase and sales ledger activities
• Bank reconciliations and general ledger support
• Assisting with month end processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Dealing with finance queries from customers and suppliers
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About you:
• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• AAT or relevant finance qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
