About the role
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to oversee the delivery of managed services within a fast-paced healthcare environment. Working closely with operational teams, site coordinators, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services, maintaining high standards and supporting effective supply chain operations.
As the main point of contact for customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring consumables, equipment, and associated services are delivered efficiently, helping to minimise operational disruption and maintain exceptional service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of contracted services across the site.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service performance and operational activities.
- Lead, support, and develop on-site coordinators to ensure high levels of performance.
- Monitor stock levels, consumable ordering, and supply chain activities to maintain service continuity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure purchasing processes and procedures are completed accurately and in line with operational requirements.
- Deliver training and support to end users on relevant systems and processes.
- Analyse operational data and produce reports to support service improvements and performance reviews.
- Coordinate customer meetings, supplier reviews, and procurement discussions.
- Support product evaluations, trials, and operational improvement projects as required.
About You
- Previous experience in service delivery, operations management, account management, healthcare services, or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Experience within healthcare services, medical devices, managed services, or supply chain operations would be advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
- Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing operational challenges independently.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
