Production Assistant

Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Mytholmroyd based client for temporary workers to cover 4 weeks work in Production/Assembly and Quality Control.

Shift/salary:

• £12.71 per hour
• 4 weeks work
• Monday to Friday (start date planned for 7th September)
• Monday to Thursday 06:00-14:00
• Friday 06:00-13:00

The role:

• Operating machinery and production equipment
• Assembling products to required specifications
• Quality checking finished goods
• Packing and labelling products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Always following health & safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets

The candidate:

• Previous production or factory experience preferred
• Able to operate machinery safely
• Good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions
• Basic understanding of health and safety
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work well in a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
