What You'll Be Doing As a Supply Teacher, your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Delivering lessons using work and resources provided by the class teacher Supervising pupils and ensuring they remain engaged with their learning Maintaining a calm, safe, and productive classroom environment Managing behaviour consistently in accordance with school expectations Following lesson plans and adapting where necessary to suit the class Quickly familiarising yourself with different school routines and procedures Supporting pupils throughout the school day and maintaining high expectations Leaving clear and concise feedback for the regular teacher where required Who We're Looking For We'd love to hear from teachers who: Hold QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Have previous classroom teaching experience Are confident managing behaviour and maintaining classroom expectations Can quickly adapt to new schools, pupils, and teaching environments Are reliable, punctual, professional, and approachable Have excellent communication skills Are comfortable teaching across a range of subjects or prefer to work within their own specialism Are looking for flexibility without compromising on the quality of their teaching Why Choose Supply Teaching?
