IT Support Technician – 1st Line
Temporary Contract (Initial 1 Month) | Central London | Hybrid Working | £17.45 - £19.65 per hour

We are recruiting for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a respected regulatory body based in Central London on an initial 1-month temporary assignment.

Pay rate: £17.45 - £19.65 per hour
Initial 1-month temporary contract
35 hours per week
Hybrid working (approximately 60% office-based)
Central London location
Rotating shifts between 8:00am and 5:00pm

Working as part of the IT Service Desk, you'll provide 1st line support to users across the organisation, resolving technical issues and service requests while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line IT support via phone, email, Teams and self-service portal
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, account and device issues
• Log, prioritise and manage incidents through the ITSM system
• Escalate complex issues where required
• Support Windows 11, Android, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SCCM and Intune environments
• Manage user accounts and access permissions
• Deliver remote support and maintain accurate documentation
• Promote IT security best practices and support ongoing IT projects

About You

• Previous Service Desk or IT Support experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Android and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Active Directory, SCCM and Intune
• Familiar with ITSM/call logging systems
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of ITIL principles would be advantageous
