We're looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Solutions Officer to join our IT Shared Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in developing, supporting, and expanding our Microsoft 365 platform, helping both councils modernise services through automation, collaboration, and emerging technologies.
About the Role
As our Microsoft 365 Solutions Officer, you will be the technical lead for the development and support of a growing Microsoft 365 environment. You will work closely with service areas, business transformation teams, and external suppliers to design and deliver innovative digital solutions that improve efficiency and enhance service delivery.
You'll be primarily responsible for developing and supporting solutions across: SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
The role combines technical expertise, solution design, business engagement, project delivery, and continuous improvement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on development and working directly with customers to achieve transformational outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading technical development, support, and administration of Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Designing and implementing automated business processes and workflows.
- Working with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions.
- Developing applications and integrations using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Supporting governance, security, and change control across the Microsoft 365 estate.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation and user guidance.
- Exploring and implementing new technologies including AI, Copilot, APIs, and RPA to drive innovation across council services.
- Ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual support through effective knowledge sharing, documentation and training for IMT teams.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused technology professional who can combine strong technical skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. They would have experience working with Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate and CoPilot Studio and the ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.

Location
Based out of our Winchester office and Andover office along with home working where suitable after the introductory period. Due to the nature of the role, there may be opportunities for overtime as some work may need to be completed out of working hours.
