The National Housing Bank (NHB) is a new government-backed financial institution, operating as a subsidiary of Homes England, established to unlock investment and accelerate housing delivery across England.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Investment Operations team and help shape one of the UK's most significant housing finance platforms.
You'll play a leading role in bringing innovative solutions and continuous improvement to control environment activity that directly supports the achievement of delivery targets, strategic plan objectives and Agency priorities.
This role leads on planning and execution of control insight activities aligned with organisational objectives as well as analysing control weaknesses and propose solutions to mitigate risks and improve compliance.
You'll bring significant experience in monitoring the performance of controls, together with overseeing continuous improvement activities to address gaps and deficiencies within the control environment.
We are looking for someone who has:
- a degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in risk, compliance or a related discipline.
- a strong understanding of risk management frameworks and associated documentation.
- experience conducting control testing and implementing process improvements.
- the ability to interpret complex regulatory and governance requirements and apply them effectively.
- familiarity with risk documentation tools such as Risk Registers / RCSAs / RACAs and issues logs.
