ICT Technician

Full time, 37 hours per week

Salary £25,989 per annum

Trustees are looking to appoint, a suitably qualified individual to join an experienced ICT Department. Daily working hours to be agreed on appointment.

The successful candidate will assist with the maintenance of the Academy computer hardware in liaison with staff/manufacturers/suppliers as required. Complete minor repairs to equipment and cabling and provide on-the-spot advice to other members of staff regarding such matters, to ensure maximum availability and usage of equipment.

Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils using the computer systems, resolving any issues as required in a timely fashion. Assist with the regular patching of Academy software, including Microsoft Windows, across 600+ devices under the direction of the Network Manager.

Full induction for the post will be given, together with on-going support for the successful candidate.

Notwithstanding the detail in this job description, the job holder will undertake such work as may be determined by the Headteacher/Governing Body from time to time, up to or at a level consistent with the Principal Responsibilities of the job.
