The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Registrar (ST3+) to support a busy Emergency Department service in the West Midlands.

This opportunity offers an ongoing locum contract, with night shifts available, providing consistent work within a dynamic hospital environment. It is ideally suited to candidates with significant Emergency Medicine experience who are confident managing acute presentations and working effectively within a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will work alongside established multidisciplinary teams, supporting service delivery and contributing to the provision of safe, high-quality patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality patient care within a busy Emergency Medicine environment
• Assess, investigate, and manage a wide range of acute and emergency presentations
• Support the day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Department
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and contribute to patient safety initiatives
• Adhere to local policies, clinical guidelines, and best practice standards

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Registrar level (ST3+) experience in Emergency Medicine
• Current and valid:
  • ATLS
  • ALS
  • EPALS or APLS
• Relevant recent UK Emergency Medicine experience
• Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and professionalism
• Ability to work both independently and within an established multidisciplinary team
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
• Immediate availability preferred
