The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to support services in the South East of England.

This is a full-time locum opportunity, created to support ongoing services in the Trust. The successful candidate will join an established multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care across multiple sites.

As this is a multi-site role, candidates must be able to travel to satellite locations as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

On-Call Commitments

The role includes participation in:

• Obstetric On-Call (Day)
• Gynaecology On-Call (Day)
• Twilight Shifts (Non-Resident Overnight)
• Weekend Day Shifts
• Weekend Twilight Shifts
• Additional ad hoc cover where required

Clinical Activity

Regular sessions are expected to include:

Clinics

• Antenatal Clinic (ANC)
• General Gynaecology
• Rapid Access Clinic (RAC)
• Outpatient Hysteroscopy
• Urogynaecology
• Colposcopy
• Menopause Services (dependent on skills and experience)

Theatre

• Weekly operating sessions

Administration

• Weekly SPA/administrative duties

What We're Looking For

• Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
• CCT or equivalent experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Recent NHS Consultant-level experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to work across multiple Trust sites
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note visa sponsorship is not available)
