Associate IS Business System Analyst

Orion Group Life Sciences are looking for an Associate IS Bus Sys Analyst – Junior Support Engineer for our Multinational Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology client based in Breda. Initial 12-month contract, with high possibility of extension. Fully onsite position.

What will you do

Our client has an opening for a junior Support Engineer. This role involves supporting the shopfloor in their European distribution and packaging areas located in Breda. You will be working with Qualified Building Management systems (Desigo CC), Zebra and Printronix printers and scanners as well supporting new Manufacturing Technology solutions, including Industrial Internet of Things and Generative AI solutions.
The ideal candidate has a strong affinity with pharmaceutical labelling, packaging, IT, and operations technology, and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of new technology solutions to improve manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
• Support of operating system / application patching/update activities on our shopfloor.
• Delivering IT equipment to end users, Production and Warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Document and train staff on new technology processes and systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology to support our manufacturing business.
• Foster a continuous improvement mindset to optimize processes and systems.

Requirements

• HBO/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 0-3 years of experience in information technology.
• Understanding of IT application management and ITIL with hands-on mentality.
• Knowledge of GxP, GDP, Distribution and Packaging is highly recommended.
• System Integration: Ability to integrate various systems and ensure seamless operation.
• Troubleshooting: Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting systems; abstract, logical thinking.
• Documentation: Skilled in creating detailed documentation and training materials.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team collaboration: Effective at working in cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Time management: Capable of managing time and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in technology solutions.
