Evening Cleaner

• Position: Evening Cleaner
• Salary: £13.37 per hour, this is equivalent of £13,905 per year. Holiday entitlement is 20 days pro rata
• Location: Haywards Heath, West Sussex
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 16:30-20:30, 20 hours per week. 
• Workplace based around 7 miles north of Haywards Heath. The job holder will need to drive and have their own transport due to rural workplace location. Role is subject to successful DBS screening.

We are very pleased to be working alongside our reputable client as they seek to recruit an Evening Cleaner to join them on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

The role – Evening Cleaner

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the site provides a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.

Duties and responsibilities include –

• Cleaning rooms, corridors, toilets, showers and other designated areas.
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
• Operating cleaning machinery in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Carrying out emergency cleaning when required.
• Reporting maintenance issues and equipment faults to supervisors.
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Experience, skills and competencies required:

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
