Working for a leading textile design and manufacturing business, this is an excellent opportunity for a proven Garment Technologist to join the business

Core responsibilities:

• Responsibility of working with a number of retailers, creating workbooks and specifications
• Working with offshore manufacturers to request samples and initial patterns
• Measuring and checking of garments, internal approvals where necessary, ensuring samples fit correctly
• Working closely with the factories to ensure that the product meets Retailer & Legal requirements, and necessary risk assessments are carried out.
• Critical path administration
• Submission of final production samples and relevant documentation.
• Creating print patterns for the design team to set up print packs
• Creating patterns for design and development

Essential requirements:

• We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
• Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with manufacturers, retailers and within the office environment.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Knowledge of 3D software would be advantageous, training can be provided
• 2-3 years’ experience in a related area
• Willing to travel to retailers for fittings
