Sous Chef – SB2493

A popular country pub which has a busy dining operation is recruiting for a Sous Chef to work alongside the Chef Patron with a view to taking control of the kitchen in the future. The pub offers diners a fantastic menu which is freshly prepared, locally sourced with traditional, classic home cooked food. As Sous chef you will have a strong input on the seasonal menus and regularly changing specials board. The pub has a thriving events programme, is busier at weekends and also offers afternoon teas and Sunday lunches. In this Sous Chef role you will be working within a small team of up to 3 chefs which means that you will be required to work around the sections in the kitchen whilst also running service.

Requirements:

A Sous Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub or restaurant where you gained all round cooking skills is needed for this role. It is important that you can work well in a small team of chefs, bringing strong cooking abilities but also the creativity needed to design new dishes and leadership skills necessary for running service.

Due to the location of this property it is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport
