Teaching Assistant Level 1

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learning, wellbeing, and personal development across the school. You will work closely with pupils and teachers, helping to create engaging learning experiences, build confidence, and celebrate success.

• To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management, behaviour support and personal care where required.
• To support teaching and learning within a school environment by assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging learning experiences, promoting pupil wellbeing, and helping children achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
