About the role

We are excited to be recruiting for a Wellbeing Manager on a part-time basis (18 hours week). As our Wellbeing Manager, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional wellbeing services to residents and the wider community at Lime Tree Village, Cawston. From creating engaging activities and building local partnerships to leading emergency response and offering one-to-one support, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our residents feel safe, active, and valued. Flexibility is essential, as the role will require occasional evening and weekend working to support resident activities, events, and the emergency response service.

You'll be hands-on, providing expert guidance, carrying out assessments, and building meaningful connections, while also leading on training, service development, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact within an established retirement village with a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver wellbeing services, activities, and initiatives for residents and the local community.
  • Lead our 24/7 emergency response team, ensuring prompt and professional support.
  • Build strong relationships with local GPs, health services, and community organisations.
  • Carry out wellbeing assessments and monitor residents' progress.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and training for your team and colleagues.
  • Support recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development.
  • Promote healthy lifestyles and encourage residents to make the most of the village's wellbeing facilities.

About You

You'll be a confident leader with excellent people skills, a genuine passion for promoting health and wellbeing, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations. You'll also be proactive, community focused, and committed to delivering an outstanding resident experience.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Emergency First Aid at Work certificate, including CPR and use of a defibrillator.
  • Experience in wellbeing, health promotion, community, or customer focused roles.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing a team.
  • Confidence in building partnerships with local organisations and healthcare professionals.
