Class 2 HGV Driver – Southampton
£17.79 per hour | Monday to Friday | Temp to Perm
We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for a temp-to-perm position based in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking to secure a permanent role with a well-established company.
Job Details:
- Pay: £17.79 per hour
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Position: Temp to Perm
- Start Time: 5:00am
- Average Shift: 10 hours
The Role:
- Multi-drop deliveries to stores
- Delivering chilled and frozen goods.
- Using cages and a powered pump truck to unload deliveries.
- Some deliveries can be physically demanding, with heavy cages to manoeuvre.
- Deliveries are often to tight locations, so confidence in reversing is essential.
- Driving a Class 2
Requirements:
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
