Baler (Yard) Operative - Day Shift

Alconbury, East of England, United Kingdom AMFRESH About The RoleWe are recruiting for a Baler Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 - 19:00).
• Hourly Rate: £12.80 (paid weekly).

As an AMFRESH Baler Yard Operative, you will:

• Operate the baler safely and report faults promptly.
• Complete daily checks on bailing machine and monitor bailing wires.
• Ensure timely handling of cardboard and general waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised yard in line with site hygiene standards.
• Suppot the yard and operational teams to keep a safe working environment.
• Dispose waste correctly in accordance to site rules.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
