Position: Field Service Engineer

Salary range: €65K-100K （Dependent on your experience）
Location: Dublin
Type of Position: Permanent
Working Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Work Arrangements: On-site

 

 

Key responsibility: 

• Receives service calls from customer. Determines customer need or problem and responds accordingly.

• Helping a tool installation at customer site

• Supporting a software cording and modification for software engineers

• May provide over-the-phone consultation and advice to customer, may need to respond to emergency customer situation or may schedule and repair Company’s products at customer site.

• Performs preventative maintenance on Company products.

• Establishes and manages a local maintenance service structure.

• Provides training to customers in usage and maintenance of Company products.

• Provides liaison between customer and applications programmer for customer requests involving change in applications.

• Submits application report to management in a timely manner.

• Minimizes downtimes of the systems.

• Effectively communicates with headquarters’ engineers regarding the product applications, technical issues

 

 

Mandatory Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Full right to work in Ireland

• Valid driver's license

 

Preferable Requirements:

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel by car and air

• Strong professionalism and ability to work independently in customer-facing environments

• Flexibility to work weekends when required, sometimes on short notice
