About the role
What will you be doing?
Active Kent and Medway’s (AKM) vision is to ‘change lives through sport and physical activity’, and it works with a wide range of partners to help achieve this.
Active Kent and Medway is seeking to appoint an Events and School Games Co-ordinator to support the delivery of Active Kent and Medway’s annual programme of events including the Primary PE and AKM Conferences and the Kent School Games. Responsible for effective planning, co-ordinating, delivery, marketing and evaluation of the School Games programme in Kent and Medway. The post will also assist the team in delivering the Children and Young People priorities with a focus on tackling inequalities, promoting youth engagement, and enhancing physical literacy.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and organisational skills and who has an interest in sport and physical activity. Please note this role does not involve any coaching.
