About the role
Warehouse Operations Manager, Basildon, Essex
£50,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30 pm
We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager in Basildon to lead operations across two busy freight forwarding warehouse facilities. You will manage warehouse performance, staffing, cargo handling, transport planning, stock accuracy and regulatory compliance across air, sea and road freight operations.
The role
• Lead warehouse and logistics operations across two facilities
• Oversee receiving, storage, breakdown and dispatch
• Manage general cargo, hazardous goods and temperature-controlled freight
• Maintain IATA, CAA and HMRC compliance
• Monitor KPIs, service levels and freight costs
• Manage staffing, shifts, training and performance
• Coordinate transport planning, haulage and last mile delivery
What we need
You must have proven warehouse or logistics management experience within freight forwarding, strong regulatory knowledge and experience using WMS or ERP systems.
Due to CAA regulations, applicants must provide a complete five year employment history with exact dates and no gaps.
