Provide Education are currently recruiting for a Year 1/2 Primary Teacher to join a lovely primary school in the Scunthorpe (DN9) area.

This is a full-time, temporary position running Monday to Friday. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join their team and support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2.
The school is a lovely primary school with a friendly and supportive team. They have a strong focus on helping pupils make progress and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

This would be a great opportunity for a teacher looking for a new role within a welcoming school.

Primary Teacher benefits:

• £140-£165 per day, depending on experience
• PAYE paid weekly
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Temporary contract

Primary Teacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in a UK primary school
• Experience teaching Year 1 and/or Year 2 is desirable
• Good knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Good classroom and behaviour management skills
• Able to adapt teaching to meet different learning needs
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

The successful Year 1/2 Primary Teacher will:

• Plan and deliver lessons across the KS1 curriculum
• Adapt lessons to suit different abilities and learning needs
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other members of staff
• Work alongside the SENCO and school leadership team where needed
• Support pupils with both their learning and wider development
