Y5 Primary Teacher

Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in DN15, Scunthorpe, supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching to a Year 5 class within a supportive and well-structured school environment.

Year 5 Primary Teacher Role Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 primary curriculum
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply

The Successful Year 5 Primary Teacher Will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 and KS2 curriculum
• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs and abilities
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Prepare pupils effectively for the transition into Year 6
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership
• Support pupils to develop their confidence, independence and academic progress
