  • Demonstrates initiative and can effectively support multiple pupils within the same classroom.
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
  • Is self-motivated, resilient and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience delivering EHCP targets or other specialist support plans.
  • Knowledge of emotional regulation strategies and supporting dysregulated learners.
  • Experience delivering intervention programmes.
  • Previous experience supporting SEND pupils in Key Stage 2.
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or school-based training.

Requirements

  • Willing to participate in an initial discussion with the school’s SENDCo.
