About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join a growing and innovative technology business based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring designer looking to develop their career within a fast-paced marketing environment, creating engaging visual content across digital and print channels.

Working closely with the marketing team and wider business, you will help bring ideas to life across social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, promotional materials and other brand communications.

The business operates within an exciting technology-led sector, providing innovative products, training and services to customers across industries including construction, surveying, public safety, agriculture, energy and media.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging graphics and visual content for digital and print marketing.
• Design social media graphics, website assets, presentations, email campaigns and promotional materials.
• Support the marketing team with creative campaigns and branded communications.
• Ensure all creative work is consistent with the company’s visual identity and brand guidelines.
• Adapt designs for different platforms, audiences and marketing channels.
• Create, edit and optimise images and other marketing assets using professional design software.
• Take creative briefs from initial concept through to polished final designs.
• Assist with photography, video and other visual content where required.
• Work closely with marketing and other departments to understand their creative requirements.
• Manage multiple design projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Respond positively to feedback and make amendments where required.
• Keep up to date with current graphic design, digital marketing and social media trends.

About You

We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and keen to develop their skills within a commercial environment. You will ideally have:

• A degree, qualification or relevant training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design or a related subject.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong creative and design skills.
• Good knowledge of professional graphic design software, ideally Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• A good understanding of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
• An interest in digital design, branding and marketing.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• The ability to interpret a creative brief and develop ideas into effective visual communications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to take feedback on board.
• An interest in technology and the ability to communicate technical products or services visually would be an advantage.
• Photography, video editing or motion graphics skills would also be beneficial, but are not essential.
