About the role

We are looking for a DevOps / Operations Engineer (Agile) to support our Lynx payment team . You will help ensure the availability, stability, and continuous improvement of our payment platform. At our Digital Hub for Credit & Collection , we work in agile teams and take full ownership of our applications – from development to operations. Application The application MPS (Magenta Payment System) is our central platform for processing payments such as PayPal, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc . The platform runs on a private cloud with geo-redundancy and is planned to be extended to public cloud environments. Purpose DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. Takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Ensure stable daily operation of the payment platform Work closely with developers, product owners, and partners Monitor and improve application performance and reliability Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) Support releases and deployments to test and production environments Implement and improve monitoring and alerting (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus) Analyze logs and support incident resolution (3rd level support) Translate requirements into user stories and technical solutions Contribute to automation and continuous improvement Support testing and integration activities Act as a link between development and operations YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU: Technical Skills Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm Experience with monitoring tools (Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus) Basic understanding of cloud environments (AWS/GCP) Ability to understand application code (Java / JavaScript) Knowledge of microservices Mindset Ownership and responsibility for applications Proactive and solution-oriented approach Interest in automation and continuous improvement Comfortable working in international teams Soft Skills Good communication and teamwork skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset Structured and self-driven way of working Language English (B2+) German (nice to have) Optional Skills Knowledge of data security and privacy processes Experience with cloud migration Have secondary education of Information technologies – Master Have experiences with Agile Methodology, Scrum and SAFe WHY SHOULD YOU CHOOSE US? We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits.
