If you're passionate about pushing boundaries and making a tangible impact, you'll find your second home with us. The Opportunity: We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer (Medior) who enjoys making cloud operations simpler, faster, and more reliable through automation. You’ll work hands-on with Telekom’s cloud platforms — OTC and GCP — and help keep deployments running smoothly across environments. Your focus will be on improving the delivery pipeline end-to-end: building and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines, supporting containerized workloads with Docker & Kubernetes , and strengthening observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK so we can detect and resolve issues early. You’ll collaborate closely with experienced engineers, take ownership of your topics, and continuously optimize processes — especially where manual work can be replaced by smart automation. Infrastructure as Code & Automation : Implement and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform, contributing to reproducible, version-controlled and automated infrastructure provisioning. Container Platforms & Orchestration : Deploy and operate containerized workloads using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, supporting cluster stability, resource efficiency and high availability. CI/CD & Release Engineering : Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes, enabling reliable and efficient delivery of applications and platform components. Monitoring & Observability : Contribute to monitoring, logging and alerting setups using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or similar technologies to ensure platform visibility and support efficient troubleshooting. Incident Support & Platform Reliability : Assist in troubleshooting platform incidents and operational issues, helping to maintain platform stability, reliability and performance. Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with software engineers, platform teams and other stakeholders to support DevOps practices, improve engineering workflows and contribute to shared platform standards. YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU: have a completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, DevOps or cloud engineering. have several years of professional experience (typically 2–5 years) in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering or a similar role working with modern cloud-based systems. have practical experience working with at least one major cloud provider such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS) . have hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools , ideally Terraform and an understanding of automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. have experience working with container technologies and orchestration platforms , such as Docker and Kubernetes. have experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated build and deployment processes. are familiar with monitoring, logging and observability tools , ideally including Prometheus, Grafana or similar technologies. have understanding of modern DevOps practices , including automation, collaboration between development and operations teams and continuous delivery principles. are able to work effectively in agile and cross-functional teams , with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and improve engineering practices. have good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to share knowledge and contribute to a positive team environment.
