If you're passionate about pushing boundaries and making a tangible impact, you'll find your second home with us. The Opportunity: We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who loves turning complex cloud operations into smooth, automated delivery. You’ll work hands-on with Telekom’s cloud platforms — OTC and GCP — and make sure deployments are not only running, but running scalable, reliable, and repeatable . Your playground spans the full toolchain: GitLab CI pipelines that ship fast and safely, Docker & Kubernetes for modern runtime operations, and strong monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK so we spot issues before users do. If you’re the person who sees manual steps and thinks “this should be automated”, and you enjoy improving performance and stability on Linux systems, you’ll feel right at home. WHAT WILL YOU DO: DevOps & Platform Lifecycle Ownership: Design, implement and take ownership of end-to-end DevOps lifecycles across multiple solutions and projects, ensuring reliable, scalable, and maintainable cloud-native platform operations. Multi-Cloud Platform Engineering: Architect, build and operate secure and scalable cloud platforms across major providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging cloud-native services and automation to enable resilient infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Implement and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks such as Terraform, ensuring reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Container Platforms & Orchestration: Design, deploy and operate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, optimizing cluster architecture, resource utilization, and high availability for production-grade environments. CI/CD & Release Engineering: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes, enabling frequent, reliable and independent releases of platform and application components. Observability & Reliability Engineering: Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and centralized logging stacks, ensuring high platform reliability, rapid incident detection and efficient troubleshooting. Incident Management & Operational Excellence: Define and implement operational best practices, including incident response procedures, automated remediation strategies, and performance optimization to maintain platform stability and availability. Cross-Team Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive DevOps culture, platform standards and best practices, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting knowledge sharing within the organization. YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU HAVE: have a completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology , or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering or platform operations. have several years of professional experience (typically 5–8+ years) in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or a comparable role involving the operation of cloud-native systems in production environments. have practical experience working with major cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS) , including the design and operation of scalable and resilient infrastructure. have strong hands-on expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code approaches , ideally using Terraform , and a solid understanding of automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. have proven experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms , particularly Docker and Kubernetes , in modern microservice or cloud-native environments. have experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery workflows to support efficient and reliable software delivery. are familiar with monitoring, logging, and observability practices , ideally with tools such as Prometheus and Grafana and a good understanding of operational visibility in distributed systems. have solid understanding of modern software development and operations practices , including automation, reliability engineering, and platform security considerations. are able to work effectively in cross-functional and agile teams , with stron…
