We are currently seeking an A&E Consultant to support services in West Wales.

This locum opportunity offers consistent weekday work within a busy Emergency Department environment, making it ideal for experienced consultants who are confident managing acute presentations and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Shift Pattern: Thursdays and Fridays only
• Hours: 10:00 – 20:00
• Pay: £95-100
• Pay Method: PAYE

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality emergency care within a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and urgent presentations.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, specialty teams and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support safe and effective patient care while adhering to local and national clinical guidelines.
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and contribute to service delivery.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration.
• Relevant recent NHS experience at Consultant level within Emergency Medicine.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and within an established multidisciplinary team.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
