Mixing Operative

Connect Appointments are recruiting Mixing Operatives to join our food manufacturing client based in Shotts.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm shift (early finish every Friday!)
• £13.05 per hour (rising to £15.25 p/h after completing training)
• Paid weekly – with all breaks paid!!

As a Mixing Operative, your duties will include:

• Mixing ingredients together accurately, following set recipes
• Weighing out ingredients to the correct specifications
• Working in line with company policies and procedures at all times
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the mixing process
• Completing quality checks and production documentation accurately
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards

To be considered as a Mixing Operative, you will need:

• At least 6 months experience in a food production environment
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions and recipes accurately
• Good attention to detail and strong time-keeping skills
• Own transport preferable due to site location and working hours
