We are now inviting applications for a full-time Staff Nurse to join our nursing team and contribute to providing high-quality care to our residents in Multiple locations in Ireland. Responsibilities * Maintain a professional demeanour at all times in line with An Bord Altranais guidelines, scope of practice, and the organisation’s code of conduct. * Adhere to all uniform, personal hygiene, PPE, and infection-control standards, promoting best practice in hand hygiene and safety. * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred nursing care while prioritising individual resident needs. * Support a safe, therapeutic nursing home environment that meets residents’ physical, psychological, and social needs. * Prepare and administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with company policy and An Bord Altranais guidelines. * Maintain the highest standards of resident hygiene, dignity, and personal care, and assist in safeguarding residents’ belongings. * Provide compassionate palliative care to residents and emotional support to their families. * Lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and provide daily direction, support, and guidance to care staff. * Participate in staff induction, training, performance monitoring, and appraisals, supporting continuous professional development. * Address performance concerns, issues, or allegations promptly and professionally, ensuring a safe and respectful working environment. Requirements * Candidates must be registered with NMBI * At least one year of experience as a registered nurse is necessary.​ * Outstanding leadership, organizational, and clinical abilities * Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. * Ability to make sound decisions * A sincere interest in Elderly Care.
