A well-established engineering business in Weymouth is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their quality team.
This is a great opportunity for a detail-focused Quality Inspector who takes pride in ensuring components meet strict engineering and customer standards within a supportive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect machined and fabricated components against engineering drawings and specifications
- Use a range of measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspection checks
- Record and report non-conformance issues accurately
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain clear and accurate quality documentation
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
- Confident using measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- High attention to detail and strong commitment to quality standards
- Experience using CMM equipment
- Background in precision engineering or machining environments
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems
- £16 – £19 per hour
