A busy hospitality venue in Bowness-on-Windermere is looking for an experienced Temporary Chef to join their kitchen team from 8th September for an initial three-week period.
The role would suit a confident chef who is comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment and can quickly settle into an established team.
About the role
The successful chef will be expected to:
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard
- Work confidently during busy services
- Follow the existing menu and kitchen procedures
- Complete preparation and maintain good kitchen organisation
- Work effectively as part of the kitchen team
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
This is a great opportunity for a chef looking for short-term work in the Lake District, with £19 per hour offered and the position being live out.
Previous experience in a busy pub, restaurant or hotel kitchen is essential.
