HGV Class 1 and 2 Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised logistics business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £20.00 per hour to £21.75 per hour. The role is Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers based in Rainham.

Shifts for HGV Class 1 and 2 Driver :

• Class 1 – nights – 3pm-5pm start Monday to Friday working 45 hours a week
• Class 2 – 4 on 4 off – 38.75 hours a week – 3am-5am start.
• Class 2 Nights – Monday to Friday – 3pm-5pm start 45 hours a week.
• ADR (ADR Preferred – training can be provided)

Pay :

• Class 1 – nights – £21.00
• Class 2 – 4 on 4 off – £20.00 – OT £21.75
• Class 2 Nights – £19.00 – OT £21.75
• Weekly pay

Main Duties of HGV driver :

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting
