About the Role
As Head Chef, you'll lead all kitchen operations and play a key role in maintaining the venue's reputation for quality food and service.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing the kitchen team
• Managing daily kitchen operations and service periods
• Menu planning and seasonal menu development
• Food cost control, stock management, and ordering
• Ensuring food safety and compliance standards are maintained
• Driving consistency, quality, and presentation across all offerings
• Recruiting and training kitchen staff as required

Your Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Experience working in busy pubs, bistros, hotels, or high-volume venues
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Solid understanding of rostering, food costing, and stock control
• Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards
• A passion for quality food and delivering great customer experiences
