Skilled Labourer

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join a busy site team. This role is ideal for someone with previous construction experience who takes pride in their work and is keen to contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

The successful candidate will assist with a variety of day-to-day site activities, including material handling, site preparation, general labouring duties, and basic joinery-related tasks. A strong work ethic, practical attitude, and commitment to health and safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with general labouring duties.
• Load, unload, move, and organise materials, tools, and equipment as required.
• Support basic joinery activities, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and preparation work where appropriate.
• Maintain clean, organised, and hazard-free work areas.
• Follow all site health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with deliveries, waste removal, and general site housekeeping.
• Carry out a range of manual tasks to support the smooth running of site operations.
• Work collaboratively with the wider site team to ensure project objectives are met.

Essential Criteria

• Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred.
• Basic joinery experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Good awareness of site health and safety requirements.
• Valid CSR card or equivalent site card desirable.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on environment and learn new skills.
