Location: Dungannon
Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.30-5 Friday 7.30-1.15, Overtime available

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join our production team.

You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components accurately and efficiently to engineering drawings and specifications.

What you’ll be doing

• Setting, operating and carrying out basic programming of CNC Mills
• Working with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, tolerances and symbols
• Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections using gauges and measuring equipment
• Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety
• Monitoring tooling, materials and stock levels
• Keeping your machine and work area clean, safe and well maintained
• Operating gantry cranes as required
• Working closely with colleagues and management to meet production targets
• Recording production time accurately against the correct jobs
• Reporting machine faults, material requirements and other issues promptly

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, ideally within a machining/manufacturing environment
• Good knowledge of Fanuc and/or Siemens CNC controls
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience with inspection and measuring equipment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Positive attitude towards quality and health & safety
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Outlook knowledge
