We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Contract Surveyor to oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of civil and structural works within a major construction project. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional with proven expertise in cost control, procurement, and contract administration across CSA packages. Our client is a prominent construction organisation with a strong track record in delivering complex civil engineering and structural projects to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Manage all commercial aspects of civil and structural packages (CSA) from pre-construction through to completion
Prepare, negotiate, and administer sub-contract and supplier agreements
Monitor project costs, valuations, and cash flow, producing accurate financial forecasts
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities to maximise profitability
Oversee cost reporting, interim valuations, and final accounts to ensure compliance with contract obligations
Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
Ensure adherence to all contractual terms and relevant standards
Must-have Requirements
Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or Contract Surveyor with experience in CSA/civil works
Strong understanding of NEC or JCT contract forms
Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high professional standards
Proficiency in cost management software and standard Microsoft applications
