About the role
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Middlesbrough
Salary: £99 per day
Contract: Long term Supply
About the role
Source Supply are recruiting a resilient and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant with the ability to form positive lasting relationships.
This specialist setting offers a broad, dynamic and engaging academic and social curriculum to equip pupils with tools they need to succeed in later life. The learners are given encouragement through praise and reward, ensuring the school environment remains positive and upbeat; there is a strong focus on breaking barriers to learning.
All young learners are respected for their individual strengths and treated as equals. There is a non-judgemental approach to behaviour management, and it is recognised that all behaviour is communication.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will join a team that recognises the importance of fostering good working relationships; staff are there to lift each other up on even the toughest days. The strong team ethos means everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet and there are clear goals to ensure both students and teaching staff are driven to achieve the very best outcomes for all in school.
