An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, independently owned small animal practice in West London.

Offering a salary of £30,000–£38,000 per annum depending on experience, this permanent position is available on either a full or part-time basis, with flexibility around the working pattern.

You'll be joining a friendly and experienced veterinary and nursing team within a practice that has been caring for its local community for more than 25 years. The practice offers excellent modern facilities, a varied first opinion caseload and a supportive environment where nurses are encouraged to utilise and develop their clinical skills.

The Practice

This well-established independent small animal practice has been caring for pets and their owners in West London for more than 25 years.

The practice has developed a strong reputation for providing high-quality, personalised veterinary care while maintaining the friendly and supportive environment associated with independent practice.

You'll be joining an experienced team of Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and dedicated support colleagues who work collaboratively to provide excellent standards of patient and client care.

The clinical team benefits from additional expertise including a Veterinary Surgeon with a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging, alongside regular visiting clinicians providing additional expertise in areas including Ophthalmology and Orthopaedics.

The practice is well equipped to investigate and manage a varied first opinion small animal caseload in-house.

The Role

This is a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse position available on either a full or part-time basis.

You'll play an important role within the clinical team and be encouraged to utilise your nursing skills across a varied first opinion small animal caseload.

Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities can include:

• Theatre nursing.
• Anaesthetic monitoring.
• Surgical assistance.
• Inpatient and day patient care.
• Diagnostic imaging support.
• Laboratory work.
• Dentistry.
• Patient monitoring.
• Nurse consultations.
• Preventative healthcare.
• Client education and support.

The practice is looking for an RVN who takes pride in providing excellent patient and client care and enjoys being an active member of a collaborative veterinary team.

There is also scope to continue developing particular areas of clinical interest through CPD and day-to-day experience within the practice.

Rota & Work-Life Balance

The position can be offered on either a full or part-time basis, with a flexible rota available to help provide a sustainable work-life balance.

The working pattern includes:

• Weekday shifts falling between 8:00am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday.
Saturday mornings on a shared rota, 8:00am–12:00pm.
• No Sunday working.
• Flexible full or part-time options.
