National Account Executive - Food

The Business:
The company are one of the global leading food companies that own some of the most well known brands in the category. The company generate a turnover of over £1 billion every year and are passionate about building up from within so there would be opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and progress with them.

The Role:
The role is a National Account Executive that is managing key customers across the Convenience channel. The role will be focused on implementing the retail channel plans to facilitate company growth and managing relationships between customers and the business. You will learn from some of the best in the industry.

You will prepare sales presentations and deliver them internally and externally as well as identifying opportunities for the business to secure new customers in the channel.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver sales plans for a portfolio of customers yearly
• Identify and secure new customers for the business in accordance with the companies channel plan
• Strategize to maximise the sales and gross profit from customer accounts
• Provide and present accurate sales forecasts
• Implement an agreed promotional plan within defined investment budgets
• Identify gaps to drive sales
• Implement agreed promotional plans

Key Requirements:

• University degree or equivalent
• Keen interest in the food industry is essential!
• Some experience working in the FMCG industry is desired
• Excellent IT skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good presentation skills

This role requires you to be in the office 3 days a week
