Northampton, UK AndersElite Multi-skilled Engineer Location: Northampton Contract Type: 3-month contract Rate: £26 per hour (Umbrella, no CIS) or £20 per hour PAYE + holiday pay The hours are Mon - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Summary My client is seeking a competent and versatile Multi-skilled Mechanical or Electrical Engineer to join their maintenance team on contract in the Northampton area. The role involves providing both electrical and mechanical expertise to support the maintenance department, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of site equipment. Key responsibilities include identifying and managing risks associated with equipment, updating technical drawings, and improving maintenance programmes. The engineer will work on three-phase electrical systems up to 440V, handling motors, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical components. Accurate task management using mobile devices linked to the CAFM maintenance system is essential. The role also requires liaising with onsite services to resolve building services issues and deputising for the Shift Leader when required. Strict adherence to risk assessments and health and safety procedures is mandatory to ensure safe and compliant task completion. The hours are Mon - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
