About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and motivated Cover Supervisor & PE Technician to join our dedicated team and play a key role in supporting both teaching and extracurricular sport across the school. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with young people and has a genuine enthusiasm for sport. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom cover during teacher absence, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning, while also supporting the PE department through the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sporting activities and competitions.

This position is contracted on a 37 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
Job Purpose
- To support to the PE Department, taking responsibility for the organisation, coordination and supervision of afterschool sports activities and clubs in addition to coordinating the House Sporting Calendar.
- To provide classroom and registration cover for absent teachers and provide administrative support as requested.
Key Skills & Experience
- Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
- Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
