Medicare People is seeking kind and committed Live-in Carer in Godalming to support individuals who need assistance to live safely and independently at home. As a live-in carer, you'll provide personalised one-to-one care that helps clients maintain their dignity, choice, and quality of life.

As a Live-in Carer in Godalming, no two placements are exactly the same. You'll deliver tailored support based on individual needs, helping with daily routines, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, and other practical tasks that make a real difference.

What you'll do

• Deliver personalised care and support at home
• Assist with washing, dressing and personal care routines
• Provide companionship and reduce feelings of loneliness
• Help clients move around safely
• Prepare meals and encourage regular hydration
• Administer medication according to care plans
• Support household tasks and laundry
• Help with shopping and collecting prescriptions
• Observe and report changes in health or wellbeing
• Maintain detailed and accurate care records
• Work alongside families and other professionals
• Promote dignity, wellbeing and independence

What you'll bring

• Experience providing care or support to others
• A compassionate and patient nature
• Confidence supporting clients on a one-to-one basis
• Strong communication and people skills
• The ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
• A commitment to delivering outstanding care
• Experience working independently
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience with medication support is desirable
• Previous live-in care experience is welcomed but not essential
