Admin Officer
Location: Bradford, BD1 1JA
Working Days / Hours: 37 hours Mon-Fri
Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm
Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour

Our Client is hiring for role responsible for smooth running of hearings and the user journey-face to face, by phone, and in writing.
What you'll be doing:
* Confirm role details through careful vacancy management and administrative preparation
* Undertake customer service and administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearing activity
* Provide clear guidance to users and stakeholders using face to face, incoming/outbound calls, and responses to correspondence in different formats
* Use service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost the right support and give specific, consistent answers
* Follow complaints policies and procedures-supporting users through the process and responding promptly to prevent escalation
* Update OPTIC as required and maintain accurate case handling
* Identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings, alert the Senior Person on Site (SPoS) when needed, and act immediately where required
* Process work using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and uphold operational/service standards
* Handle case files with accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention and data-loss protocols
* Manage jury service administration (selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking) and process related expenses and court fees
* Assist with listing and scheduling, supporting urgent matters and adhering to listing policies
* Support enforcement procedures including financial assessments, fine collection assistance, and producing basic statistical/financial reports
* Contribute to health and safety operations (PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
What you'll bring:
* Confidence communicating clearly with a wide range of people, including those with specific and potentially complex needs
* A strong attention to detail-especially when entering data, managing documents, and following secure procedures
* Calm, proactive problem-solving, particularly when dealing with complaints or time-sensitive activity
* A service mindset with the ability to follow policies and work to operational standards
* Willingness to support team activity across customer service, hearings administration, jury tasks, enforcement support and health & safety processes
Additional information:
You'll be expected to use contact methods effectively and keep records up to date to support accurate casework and reporting.
