A welcoming family living in the beautiful countryside near Crick, Northamptonshire is seeking an experienced, Nanny/Housekeeper to work with them as a Family Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive family environment with two young children, currently aged 2 years and 4 months and would suit a candidate looking to build a long-term partnership. Due to the rural location, a driver with their own car is essential.
The role is not a traditional Nanny position but will offer a blend of Nanny and Housekeeping responsibilities mainly in a shared care capacity, but confidence to take sole-charge to enable mum to get out of the house when needed is important. The family are looking for someone who can genuinely become an extra pair of hands within the home and help keep the household running smoothly.

Mum is currently at home and wants to play a big part in her children’s care. Dad works from home around twice a week. As the parents will be around the ideal candidate will be a confident team player, who communicates well, reads the room, and has a genuine team-player attitude. Someone who can confidently adapt to the family’s routines would be a good fit.

The family’s toddler loves spending time outdoors, so the family would love a nanny who enjoys spending time outside. The family have a dog (who has a dog walker) and two cats, so a lover of animals is needed. The family would appreciate a candidate who can use their initiative to assist in the care of the animals occasionally. This will be a long-term position for the right candidate.

Location of the job: Crick, Northampton
Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum 2 years’ experience – as a Nanny specifically.
Details of any training needed for this job: Qualified Nanny or qualified Teacher preferred but not essential.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: DBS and Paediatric First Aid Qualification Essential.
Hours of work: 9am-3pm – flexible for the right person
Days required: 3 days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Pets in the home: Yes – 2 dogs and 1 cat.
Driving required: Yes, house is rurally located.
Job Start Date: October – flexible for the right person
Pay: £16,380 per annum (Based on £17.50 per hour)
