An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Commercial Contracts Partner to join the Birmingham office of a highly regarded national law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Partner who has an established and transferable client following and is looking for a platform from which to further develop their practice.
The Opportunity
The firm is looking to strengthen its commercial offering in Birmingham with the appointment of a Commercial Contracts Partner who can bring their own clients and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
You will work with a broad range of businesses, advising on complex and high-value commercial contracts and helping clients navigate their most important commercial relationships.
The role is likely to encompass:
Commercial contracts and agreements
Supply, distribution and manufacturing agreements
Outsourcing and services agreements
Terms and conditions
Technology and IT contracts
Procurement and framework agreements
Joint ventures and strategic commercial arrangements
Licensing and intellectual property agreements
Commercial aspects of corporate transactions
Negotiating complex and high-value contractual arrangements
About You
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Partner with:
A strong track record in commercial contracts
An established, portable client following
Excellent technical and commercial expertise
A proven ability to generate and develop new business
Strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
A commercially minded and entrepreneurial approach
The ambition to grow a significant practice within a national law firm
The ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices
