WAREHOUSE & COUNTERBALANCE OPERATIVE – COVENTRY, WEST MIDLANDS

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Counterbalance Operative – Coventry, West Midlands to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday working, ongoing work, overtime opportunities and career progression within a busy manufacturing environment.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, FLT Reach Driver, FLT Counterbalance Driver, Reach Truck Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator, Forklift Operator or Material Handler.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 11:00 to 19:00

Rates of Pay

 • £12.71 per hour
 • Overtime – £15.32 per hour
 • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse & Counterbalance Operative, your duties will include:

 • Operating Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
 • Moving raw materials, finished goods and stock throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility
 • Loading and unloading vehicles where required
 • Collecting empty stillages, boxes and packaging materials
 • Supplying manufacturing areas with materials to support production requirements
 • Using pump trucks and battery-powered hand trucks where necessary
 • Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting any defects
 • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across all warehouse and logistics areas
 • Following all health and safety procedures and company standards

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment
 • Previous experience operating Reach and/or Counterbalance Forklift Trucks
 • Previous experience operating other MHE, including LLOP or PPT

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
