Job Title: Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer
Location: Kent
Rate: £220–£240 per day + expense package
Are you a Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer based in Kent looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm & Warden Call Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm and warden nurse call systems across a range of residential, commercial, and healthcare sites throughout Kent. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
* Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on warden and nurse call systems across a varied site portfolio.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on fire detection and warden call equipment in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete accurate service records and site documentation following each visit.
* Liaise with site contacts and building managers to minimise disruption during maintenance visits.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant industry regulations and company procedures.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and warden call systems.
* Proven working knowledge of fire alarm panels and systems from manufacturers such as Advanced, Gent, Hochiki, or Morley.
* Experience with warden and nurse call systems, such as Aidcall, Courtney Thorne, or similar.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires daily travel across Kent.
* FIA Certification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS Card (desirable).
